Sun 5 January at 14 Music from the vaults of heaven and the human mind
At the matinee of guitarist Santeri Rautiainen, old music meets the turbulent 20th century. The modern classical guitar opens the gates to baroque whimsicality, melancholic sighs and appealing sincerity. Impressionism allows the guitarist and guitar to forget their limitations and dive into the kaleidoscope of expression.
Sun 12 January at 14 Songs about grand emotions
The matinee features classical vocal music from near and far, performed by mezzo-soprano Hannamaija Arjovuo, soprano Solja Lapilainen and pianist Annu Kari.
