This matinee put together by Aino Kovanen will feature pieces from musicals translated into Finnish by Kovanen herself, as well as a few borrowed texts. The songs create snapshots of moments of growth, in which the characters of the stories ponder on their place and significance in the world. Over the course of the concert, the certainty and naivety of youth slowly turn into something else amidst the pressures, worries and conflicts of the present time. When everything around us looks uncertain, what is ultimately important and essential?

The matinee will feature performances by Aino Kovanen (vocals), Tuuli Mäkiranta (vocals), Liisa Kivinen (vocals), Marius Pirhonen (guitar) and Krista Väisänen (piano).
