Hits from the Era of Romanticism on Two Guitars
Tapahtuma
-
Musicians performing at salons in the early 19th century would play plenty of contemporary hits, opera preludes and grand orchestral pieces, arranged as chamber music for line-ups such as two guitarists. The two award-winning musicians, teacher Janne Malinen and student Eetu Yrjänä from Sibelius Academy, share a burning love for guitar and music from the era of Romanticism. The matinee by the duo will feature pieces from the era played on period instruments smaller than contemporary guitars, one of which is a genuine guitar crafted by Louis Panormo in 1838 and the other one a copy of it. Programme €20/10.
Included in the price of admission €16/11, no separate fee. Free entry with Museum Card.
