A Sea of Stars

Combining music and theatre, the performance is a story about L. Onerva, Eino Leino and Leevi Madetoja, three artists whose lives were a constant struggle between success and depression. In the story, Onerva is locked inside a psychiatric hospital, and the performance features her memories of moments of happiness and pain from her past life. Madetoja’s songs are performed by soprano Johanna Isokoski and pianist Tuula Hällström. The script was written by Juhani Koivisto.
