Artikka

Artikka is a dynamic chamber music ensemble of young musicians dedicated to making classical music more accessible and engaging for audiences of all backgrounds. All three members of Artikka have studied at the Sibelius Academy, where they met and started their co-operation together. They believe that classical music should not be confined to traditional settings but can be enjoyed by everyone. To achieve this goal, Artikka showcases a diverse repertoire that spans from Beethoven to Piazzolla. Their performances feature a variety pieces, ensuring a rich musical experience. Through their innovative approach, Artikka aims to bridge the gap between classical music and contemporary listeners, inviting all to explore and appreciate the complexity of this genre. The musicians are Kamil El-Ahmadieh, piano; Petros Andreadis, clarinet, and Eetu Yrjänä, guitar.
