Aurora’s Salon

In the hall at Hakasalmi Villa, we will go back to the 19th century and experience a salon atmosphere from the Romantic period. The evening will be hosted by Aurora Karamzin, a Colonel’s wife, who will first invite her guests to enjoy enjoy a lied concert by students of the Metropolia university of applied sciences. During the intermission, you can purchase 19th-century baked goods from the Kalevan Martat association. Next, the dance will begin, starting with a performance by the Seurasaaren Kansantanssijat folk dancing group. Then the audience will get to waltz under the crystal chandelier and learn the convivial contradanse française with piano accompaniment. Free entry.
