Ballroom dancing for seniors
Senior dance is a fun, social and safe way to exercise that makes movement light, improves balance, promotes heart health, invigorates the memory and brings the joy of learning to people. Everyone can get the hang of dancing quickly regardless of age or background. You only need everyday clothes and comfortable shoes to dance, but feel free to dress up if you want to. You do not need a partner; everyone dances together.
In the spirit of the Glamour and Curtsy exhibition, attendees will get to enjoy ballroom dances on a parquet floor under a crystal chandelier. The dances will be led by Aune Koskela, assisted by the Lempäälän Nuorisoseuran Salonkitanssijat ballroom dance group.
Entry to the event is free of charge! Please note, that the dances will be led in Finnish.
