Brief moment of music, great emotions

This matinee will feature songs from the Baroque period as well as works about grief, love and hope, played on the harpsichord. Soprano Minna Nyberg and harpsichord player Päivi Vesalainen form a duo specialising in old music that performs cutting songs about passion and pain, creates hope with harpsichord tunes, brings the tragic fates from the most beautiful arias alive, and captivates listeners with mini-dramas exuding love and happiness.

The concert will feature compositions by Barbara Strozzi (1619–1667), Georg Friedrich Händel (1685–1759), Henry Purcell (1659–1695) and Johann Jacob Froberger (1616–1667).

The concert is included in the price of admission (€16/11), no separate fee. We accept the Museum Card.
