Elisabeth’s story

This performance is based on glimpses into the life of Elisabeth Järnefelt (1839–1929), an inspiring muse with a fiery soul, and it offers excerpts from diaries, Vanhempieni romaani (My Parents’ Story) by Arvid Järnefelt and works by Juhani Aho, accompanied by music composed by their contemporaries and the favourite songs of Elisabeth Järnefelt. The matinee will feature Linda Hedlund on the violin, Ruusamari Teppo on the piano and Suvi Olavinen as narrator.

The concert is included in the price of admission (€16/11), no separate fee. We accept the Museum Card.
