Strings and oboe in the late 1700s

The matinee will feature bright chamber music composed by Mozart’s contemporaries alongside a master piece by the first renowned composer in the Nordics. The programme will include Johann Christian Bach’s oboe quartet in B major, W. B 60; Louis Massonneau’s oboe quartet No 1 in F major; and Bernhard Henrik Crusell’s divertimento for oboe and string quartet, Op. 9.

The concert will be performed by Francisco Almazán Alhambra, oboe; Pia Sundroos, violin; Pauline Fleming-Unelius, violin; Sebastian Silén, viola; and Joanna Hanhikoski, cello.
