Unen omaisia & Kaarrellen, kahlaten
The programme of this matinee features two performances that cross artistic boundaries in a fresh way. The light and heavy, thought-provoking performance Unen omaisia (‘Dream Kin’) by actor Leena Rapola and pianist Elina Saksala features poems by Tuukka Pietarinen, piano music and a few songs. Kaarrellen, kahlaten (‘Circling, Wading’) is a silent performance by dance artist Katriina Kantola and visual artist Anniina Dunder-Berg, characterised by the live interaction of dance and visual art. The theme of the performance is birds, the essence of which manifests itself in both the dancer’s movements and as lines on a paper. The audience can influence the performance by selecting birds to inspire the artists.
The concert is included in the price of admission (€16/11), no separate fee. We accept the Museum Card.
