A hint of spring

What does spring sound like? Like the first flowers in the snow, delicately translucent, like soft dust particles floating in the sun’s rays, or still cool and melancholy for a moment, before warmth and greenery finally burst forth with full force. This matinée will feature sweet miniature pieces by Hans Sitt, Franz Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata, known for its beautiful melodies, French Composer Nadia Boulanger’s soulful Trois pièces and Film Music Composer Nino Rota’s Intermezzo. Viola player Anna Saastamoinen and pianist Anu Rautakoski delight in sensing the different moods of music together.

The concert is included in the price of admission (€17/11), no separate fee. We accept the Museum Card.
