LAST DAY OF THE EXHIBITION: Songs of independence

The decades of Finnish independence are remembered in the many popular songs that are sung in schools, pubs, churches, homes and concerts across the country. Based on musical recollections and memories contributed by the public in the autumn of 2016, we have created a sing-along event as part of Finland’s centenary programme, charting the history of an independent Finland through beloved songs, from the 1910s until today.
