Matinees at Villa Hakasalmi: Nouse laulu (Steig, kling der Gesang) POSTPONED UNTIL LATER

The beautiful hall at Villa Hakasalmi has excellent acoustics, which is why we are having matinee concerts featuring all kinds of music there every Sunday at 2 pm. You can enjoy matinees for the museum entrance fee of 12/10 euros. Free entry to those under the age of 18 and museum card holders.

The matinee by Chamber Choir Laurus, founded in 2004, features spring songs in various styles. The approximately twenty singers of the choir perform mainly a cappella music form different eras. It has performed St John Passion by J. S. Bach, Gloria by Vivaldi and Requiem by Fauré, among others. Laurus has participated in choir festivals in Riga, Turku and Alta Pusteria in Italy. The choir is conducted by Heidi Harinen.
