Parisian virtuosity

The internationally acclaimed Finnish pianist Kristoffer Gylling, who graduated from Conservatoire de Paris and the Sibelius Academy, interprets virtuosic pieces composed in Paris. Among the most demanding of these are Chopin’s Études and Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit, which is, in the composer’s own words, “transcendentally virtuosic”.
