The different stages of love appear distinctly in the works of composers. Early, passionate love is expressed through light and hopeful melodies. Fulfilled love often sounds more lyrical, calm, and intimate. Through a selection of love songs by Hugo Wolf, Clara and Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Henri Duparc and other contemporaries Anna Ginström, soprano, and Dávid Szilasi, piano, dive into the depths of human emotion.
