The Seasons in Love

In the first matinée of March, love, longing, and the seasons embrace one another through song. The song texts convey joy, sorrow, and even painful euphoria. Amid the intensity of emotions, a glimpse of calm emerges, guiding the listener toward an unexpected serenity. The program features works by composers such as Brahms, Fauré, Strauss, Sibelius, and Kuula. The emotions are interpreted by mezzo-soprano Silva Lahti and pianist Tuomas Salokangas. Programme €10.
