Trio Kajo

Trio Kajo is a chamber music band founded in 2020, consisting of cellist Hanna-Viola Miettinen, pianist Eemeli Solehmainen and clarinetist Kaisu Tanskanen. Their repertoire features both classical and modern chamber music. The matinee will take listeners on a journey from Romanticism to the modern day. Louise Farrenc’s spectacular and virtuosic Trio in E Flat Major, Op. 44, Robert Delanoff’s dreamlike Nocturne and Gabriel Fauré’s emotion-filled and multifaceted Trio in D Minor, Op. 120 form a nuanced and rarely performed set.
