Under the late summer sun

This matinee invites the audience to enjoy the nuanced world of French music. The repertoire includes Camille Saint-Saëns’ delicate oboe sonata and Francis Poulenc’s lively trio for piano, oboe and bassoon. The concert will also feature the exuberant piano music by Maurice Ravel. The programme has both lightness and depth, offering a perfect moment to stop for a while to take in the beauty of a summer’s day.
