Villa Hakasalmi is closed in spring and summer 2018 due to a renovation, but in September a new exhibition presenting the garish and exuberant Helsinki of the 1920s will be opened.

Spring of Hatred is an episodic play by Sirpa Kähkönen, set in Helsinki during the Finnish Civil War of 1918.
100 and Counting – a new photography exhibition at Villa Hakasalmi
The 100 and Counting exhibition features both old photographs and new, large portrait collages made for the exhibition. The portraits have been photographed and compiled by photographic artist Vesa Tyni, an internationally renowned photographer from Helsinki.
